Harrison Update.
Somebody is about to turn ONE! Can you believe it? Because we can't. Our little Harrison seems to get cuter and cuter each day. Of course I would think so since I am his Mom. He has such a sweet personality to cheer up any gloomy day. I am so anxious to release his most handsome birthday pictures. Harrison also has a video to come out too in dedication of his first year. I will post links as it gets closer to his special day. Piggle aka Harrison loves to play more than Avery does with Avery's pink kitchen she got for her birthday. We think he might be a chef. Hey, what lady doesn't love a man that can cook, right? We are so often stopped so people can look at his fratboy ensemble. Even though he has to wear his brothers hand-me-downs, his fro and baby polos are all the time getting him attention which he loves. He's so much fun.
Avery Update.
Our little girl has become such a little chatterbox. Avery and I have started working on a regular basis with flashcards among other learning curriculum. Her favorite word/thing is a "Sea Star" aka "star fish". Anytime she sees the shape she is quick to say " Sea Star". Its precious. It is so nice to have a little more time to spend with her one on one. She is such a fun little person. She has become very vocal. She loves to sing. We have started listening and dancing to music. We have been having a ball together. We are amazed on how much she has grown.Time please STOP.
Jackson Update.
Our little man, as I so often say, is growing up too quickly. We are so proud of his accomplishments in school and at home. During our sick days, Jackson and I had some time to catch up on some reading. During this time he read to me his first book, Thomas and the Great Race , All BY HIMSELF! We are so proud of him! Reading has always been a favorite past-time for him. I knew at 2 when he was able to name all 80 characters on the Thomas the Train site, that he was quick to learn and associate words. His teachers are amazed at his memorization. I have to say its pretty impressive. EVERY child is bright and each child has their strengths. Jackson has this great strength of memory. We are so excited to see what this school year has to bring for him.
Three Sick Little Piggies.
September , has been a month of illness for us. Since Jackson has started school our sick days have been non-stop. The worst for us has seemed to pass. Jackson was diagnosed with Influenza A (the swine Flu) about two weeks ago. Harrison also showed signs of the flu as well, but their doctor decided to treat all three children, just to be on the safe side. We are thankful that we all have it out of our systems, but through the course of the infection our days were rough. The H1-N1 is to be taken of course seriously as with any infection, but the odds of it being fatal, are not as likely to happen unless the person has a secondary infection ( such as pneumonia). I won't lie. My heart was racing when the doctor told us his test was positive, but no worries they are perfectly fine. We thank everyone for the many prayers that were said for our family!
