We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and for those of you who got snow i'm sure you enjoyed, we did!

Happy Birthday to our sweet boys! On the agenda another Room-Redo and a spider-rific party to celebrate 6 and 2. At the end of August Jackson and I had a conversation about his room. When I asked him what theme he wanted he said, "I want a SpiderMan Room". I was not fond of the idea at first. All I could think of was cheesy spiderman decals and bed spreads. Then I looked at the boys loft and that is when the vision came alive. At that moment I knew and could visualize the cobalt blue walls and the loft/closet as a sky scraper. I shared the vision with Mom and she became my partner in crime. All I knew was that the room had to look industrial and masculine. NO decals or cheesy bedspreads. Jackson and I had found at JcPenny online a really cute monogrammed bed a few years ago. Red happened to be his color choice. He constantly asked me "can I get the little red bed?" So for 2 years I was trying to figure out a way to implement this bed into a room theme for him... October arrived and the time was neigh to be more proactive about the materials/ furniture we would be using for their room. I decided to order both boys "little red beds". Finally their birthday weekend arrived. We shipped the kids off to Grammy and Pa's. Mom and Billy came in from SC to help us create the boys dream room. We started slow but made it to the finish line before 2:30(when the party started) . A few little details were left to finish, but for now this was our final product.....

Its hard to believe he's officially two.
Our town's local businesses host a family night on the first Friday of every month. I decided to take the kids to
Its officially Halloween season today, and we are thrilled! After getting Jackson on the bus and eating breakfast, Avery, Harrison, and I head to Halloween Express. We arrived a few minutes before they opened so we have to wait. Once Avery and Harrison saw the lady coming to the door to open it they started dancing with excitement, I really don't think they know what we're getting into. The doors opened and that's when the fun started. Harrison had nothing to do with trying anything on. I tried for the garden gnome and he started pitching a fit , but Avery on the other hand LOVED it. We tried on almost every costume in her size...First we pulled out the red wig and fins and she transformed before our very eyes into Ariel the little mermaid.
