The Concert.

This post was first on the agenda tonight seeing as there are a few request to preview their show.
Jackson told me afterwards he was shy and didn't know why all the people we're staring at him. He didn't sing like I thought he would either. We'll if your a parent you know how it goes. Whenever you want your child to do something as they do for you( just you and them) they do the opposite when around other people, this is my experience anyways. I am attaching a picture link as well as this video for you to check out. Enjoy!http://share.shutterfly.com/share/received/welcome.sfly?fid=58176b439d2e46716d9889752d9a603c&sid=0Cbt2bFuzZ

Beautiful.

Just want to post these beautiful flower pics. These flowers (Wisteria) sit on a rd right above our house, that the kids and I love to walk down this scenic rd and admire the beauty that streams from it. The pictures are not even half as beautiful as they are in person. Hope you enjoy.

Rodeo Field Trip.

Jackson's class took a field trip to the rodeo today. When we dropped Jackson off this morning, Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Allison invited the parents to attend. I could only think of many little messes, laundry, and dirty dishes I needed to attend to, but came to the realization that those little messes would still be there when I got home. So Avery, Harrison, and I skipped our house chores and met up with Jackson and his class. He was excited to see us. More parents than I thought were able to make it to the event. There was barrel racing, bull riding, calf catching(?). So much fun stuff for the kids to see. They all really enjoyed it.

Little Gardeners.

What many wonderful things 2010 has brought us already. This month we would like to share with you our garden. I am so excited that we finally have the land to do this. This past weekend the kids (MAINLY BRANDON) did an awesome job at planting the garden. We will be growing LOTS of corn, tomatoes, squash, banana peppers, okra, beans, & watermelon to name a few. We'll keep you updated with pics of how our little garden grows. Follow this link to view more pics...

Spring Break at Fernbank

Jackson's Spring Break wasn't totally lame. He spent the first part of the week at Grammy's lake house with cousin Ryler. Thursday we relaxed. Then on Friday we journeyed to Atlanta to visit the Dinosaurs at Fernbank Museum. We arrived at lunchtime, so we made our way to the cafe' which was a massive area with tables and chairs and HUGE DINOSAURS. Oh my! We decided to pack our lunches and picnic with the dinos. After they marvelled over the T-rex and brontosaurs.
We visited our first exhibit (you will find in the pictures) "Nature Unleashed".Most of the exhibit was to advanced for Harrison, but Jackson and Avery loved making their own earthquake and volcano. They also got to go inside a tornado. Well kinda sorta. After that we checked out some stars then headed upstairs to play in the kids zone. Where they played and played. Their set up was pretty cool by the way. Then we made our way to our last stop on the top floor the science room. They had a ton of cool things for the kids to experiment with. By the time we finished that room the crankiness started to set in.
So we made our run to the dinosaur room before the crankies got the best of us. I tried my best to document our day. The kids did very well to be there for just about 3 hours and to put up with a Mom that likes to take a picture a minute.I know one day when my memory has left me the pictures that I have taken will still be there to remember. The kids enjoyed themselves to say the least. Harrison passed out within 5 minutes of the car ride home. i hope you enjoy the pics as much as we had fun making them.

Happy. Happy.

We hope you had a Happy. Happy Easter. Jackson, Avery, and Harrison seemed pretty happy as proof in the picture to the left. We started our day by getting dressed in our Sunday's best and had Aunt Becca and Jake accompany us to church. When we got home we ate a yummy meal and prepared ourselves and yard for our Egg Hunt. This year we decided to have family and friends celebrate with us, such a great day in history. We had such a great time. Please follow the link to view the images that were captured on this beautiful day.
