She's 50!

I must say this was such an awesome moment. I cannot believe for over a month we kept the party a secret. I am so very proud of everyone for not spilling the beans, and to continue with the surprise we made sure as everyone arrived that they parked their cars in our neighbors driveway so they(cars) were very well hidden. They(Sharon and Phil) arrived at our house being greeted by Brandon out in the yard. Sharon walked in to noticed her birthday table in our dinning room and then her eyes moved to our living room to where she saw an even bigger surprise. Sharon's eyes were in full bloom of the surprising moment as she saw her loved ones ready to wish her the happiest of Happy Birthdays. The first thing that came out of her mouth was "I should have cleaned my house" Haha! Typical. Gotta Love her.
She enjoyed the day with family, friends and barbeque. What a birthday to remember. We thank all of you for helping us celebrate her big day and the ones who couldn't make it, you were in our thoughts and prayers. A big shout out to my Mom for helping me make my life beautiful when it gets crazy and to Becca for making the world more yummy! You did an awesome job with the cake girl!

Hanging Out.

We had a few friends come hang out with us this weekend. The kids were doing some really cute stuff and I couldn't resist pulling out the camera. Paisley (Aunt Ashley's Brother's daughter) decided to lounge with Jackson and Avery (shown above).
There were a few good shots that I am excited to use in my portfolio (shown below). Again Avery takes the spotlight. Their are some really cute ones of the other kids as well.

We've Moved.

Our day has finally arrived. February 1st we officially moved out of the old and into our new home. In our spacious 3br home, Brandon and I actually have our own bedroom now. We both are way grateful for the space. We are so in love with the room, there is so much more air to breath and space for the kiddos to play.

Jackson has two and a half more months of school left which we cannot believe, and is still lovin skateboarding. Both Jackson and Avery have joined the kids choir at church which is super cute. They will be having their first "Concert" as we call it on Easter. and "Yes" we will be posting a video shortly after, so stay tuned. Avery is also excited every Saturday morning to go be a "Princess" at ballet. She loves to dance, and for two and a half is a quick learner. She can do the positions and a few other moves as well. Oh... and most importantly she is out of diapers. Yay! One more to go. Which brings us to Mr. Harrison. He is still such a sweet baby with a little temper every now and again. He has started to say more than just Mama and Dada, he can repeat almost anything you ask him. I am going to have to invest in ear plugs before long. Lol!

Please follow the link to find out what the kids have been up to. FYI the majority are of Avery because Jackson was in school and Harrison was being a crabby patty the few days we used to take these. Here you go. http://share.shutterfly.com/share/received/welcome.sfly?fid=3c8c97d07c50b86a2f762628e38c6d8e&sid=0Cbt2bFuzZsmNY

Meet Emerson.

Emerson is an eight week old australian cattle dog mix. He is simply the cutest thing ever. Well... he's up there with Jackson, Avery, and Harrison I must say. Check out the pics of Avery and Harrison cuddling with the little guy. Avery totes him around as if he is a doll. They love him and he loves them.

Sk-8-ter Boy.

Here is our skater boy in action.
Our little dude had his first board lesson today and he now thinks its the coolest thing ever. The funny part is that he really has never seen anybody skate. He became interested this Summer when Grandma let him pick out a Christmas ornament of a random skateboard and helmet . Gotta love Hobby Lobby. Anywho.
He did really well. I don't know how he stays on the thing to be quite honest with you. He had a few wipe outs as I expected. But his teacher told me he did pretty good for a beginner. Teacher dude said most kids aren't able to do what he did until their 8 or 9. Pro's start off excelling at about 4 or 5. Who knows this might be one of our little mans gifts. A pro sk-8-ter dude. We'll see. Here's the link to the pics.http://share.shutterfly.com/share/received/welcome.sfly?fid=c90c1802604314d86cbbd47cbb382743&sid=0Cbt2bFuzZsmGH

Dancing Queen.

Last Saturday our little darling started her very first ballet lesson. I wish I could put the adorable slide show up that I made of her first day but for some reason it won't post.
So this will have to do.http://share.shutterfly.com/share/received/welcome.sfly?fid=372dd9e58acf80133315f89dbf2f35f7&sid=0Cbt2bFuzZsmFp
Ms. Cassidy reported that her first 20 minutes of class, we're used to pout because Mommy wasn't allow to stay in the studio to watch her. I will have to say it was so darn hard not to open the door to take a peak. All the parents were so anxious to see their little princesses. After those 20 minutes of pouting passed, Avery jumped up and started to dance. Supposedly she followed directions very well and ended up having a great time. We just finished our second lesson today. It went so much better. This time she had no problems with the separation.

Maybe she will be a dancing queen after all.

Don't miss out on this video. This footage was taken
after class.

Happy

Happy New Year to You! For us, 2009 was a great year to end this past decade. From Harrison and I debuting on the cover of Preganacy and Newborn Magazine in January, to our March 1st Snowday. Our Summer Beach trip in July to St. Simons. August took Jackson to school and the latter part of the year we were busy celebrating birthdays. Here are a few shots we took last night as we brought in 2010 with Tyler and Ashley and a few friends. I thought a photobooth would be a lot of fun to have at our party. The kids loved it as well as the big kids too. Harrison ended up going to sleep by a quarter to 9pm. He couldn't hang so he missed out on our photobooth session. Poor Baby. Jackson stayed up until we departed and fell asleep on the ride home. Miss Avery did pretty good. She got to see the ball drop and about 10 minutes later passed out. Well we hope that 2010 brings blessings amongst you all. Take care and God Bless!

Love,

Us Smiths
